Meeting Recap and Habitat Challenge Info

Such a great meeting tonight! I am thrilled there are so many people interested in modern quilting and happy that you all are such a fun and funny bunch!

Habitat Challenge Blocks:
Make 2 blocks with your 3 fat quarters.
You may add one solid of your choice.
Finished block size: 12.5"
Blocks should be made of squares and/or rectangles only.
Blocks due at our next meeting.

Be sure to check out the Flickr group for discussions and be on the lookout for a tutorial on how to make a Flickr mosaic for our upcoming scrap swap.

Project Modern: MQG Challenge

Hey Everyone.

Three great prizes are up for grabs and judging by Denyse Schmidt.

Also, we will be holding off on voting on our bylaws so there can be plenty of time for everyone to review them.

July Meeting

Hi Friends!

Our July Meeting will be July, 28 from 6:00-7:30 PM at Morrison Regional Library, Charlotte, NC.  (Near SouthPark Mall)

Important Items on the Agenda:

*We will vote on the bylaws and approve the board.

*Please make plans to pay your dues ($40) at our meeting.

*We will finalize plans for the MQG Habitat Challenge and the plans for our charity quilt.  Fabric will be distributed to members that have paid their dues.
