Stories in Stitches: Kawandi-Siddi Quilt Class

Kawandi is a utilitarian quilt made by the African diaspora of India. Sujata will share step by step basic instructions for making a small, one of a kind Kawandi. In this workshop you will experience an intuitive process and make a unique and personalized patchwork.

During this workshop, Sujata will also share how she documents her memories and special events of life with stitches and the importance of stitching each day.

Sujata Shah will lead this class on Saturday, April 30 1:00 - 5:00 pm.

This class is $50 for guild members and $60 for non-guild members.

*Class registration is full*
