Meeting Recap & Upcoming Sew-In

The October meeting was lots of fun and it was great to see so many new faces.  Thank you to Kelleigh and Fran for the mini-workshop on pillowcases to get us ready for our upcoming sew-in.

We hope everyone can join us for a fun event!  The pillowcases we make on Saturday will be donated to a great local organization, Beds for Kids.
 

"Beds for Kids mission is to provide a bed and other essential furniture to every child and family in need in Charlotte."

 

One of the techniques we will be using is the "roll it up" method (aka: hot dog method).  Here is a link to an easy online tutorial located on All People Quilt.
