English Paper Piecing at Thursday Meeting

At our Thursday meeting, Bianca and Courtney will be teaching a workshop on English Paper Piecing.  We would love to have you participate by making your own hexie ring or flower.

Please bring at least 6-7 scraps cut to a 3" square and a hand sewing kit with hand needle, thread and scissors.  If you have a fabric glue stick (like lapel or sewline) you can bring that too; some people like to use them although they are not necessary.

If you already have paper hexies, please bring them, but we will have them if you don't.  You can purchase paper pieces here or print them here.  We recommend starting with the 1" size at first.

See you on Thursday!

Workshop at August Meeting

Woo Hoo! Many thanks to Gail who is going to teach our paper piecing mini workshop at our August meeting.

Mark your calendars now, you won't want to miss it!

Also, plan to bring a sew & tell. It can be any modern quilting project in any stage.

Don't forget to work on your Habitat blocks if you are participating in the challenge. Upload pics to our Flickr group and please bring them to the meeting on the 25th.

And, fill your quart bag with fabric if you would like to participate in the swap.

More details can be found in our Flickr group.
See you soon!
