The Sew Modern Retreat has been scheduled for April 3-6, 2014 in Blowing Rock.  Joyce Mullis is planning the retreat again this year and complete details can be found over on her website  http://heartsdesirecreations.wordpress.com/modern-guild-retreat/.  We will also have brochures and more information available at the upcoming meeting.




AND ONE BEAUTIFUL CAT
My last blog post was about CMQG member Karen Ponischil and her upcoming classes.  Karen recently learned that her quilt, Princess Daphne, has won an Honorable Mention in the upcoming IQA show in Houston.  Karen actually had TWO quilts accepted into the show.  Wow!!!  Congrats, Karen. The quilts are truly amazing!
